On September 12, the Board emailed homeowners about the management change. Here's our request, signed so far by owners of 30 units, next to what the Board committed to.
Before signing any new management agreement, the Board should run a competitive selection process and give owners the opportunity to observe the candidate presentations, receive the proposal materials, and ask questions.
The Board intends to provide additional information regarding the management-company selection process at the next Board meeting. Homeowners will have an opportunity to hear an update, ask questions, and provide input consistent with the Association's established meeting process.

We welcome any updates. What we've been promised is information about the process; this stops short of saying whether owners will see competing proposals, hear from the candidates, or have the materials in hand before anything is signed. Those are the specific things we are requesting, and we hope the October update is responsive to that request and not just a report on decisions made out of view.
I raised the same distinction in February 2025, when the year's budget reached owners as a finished product with no open discussion of the trade-offs behind it. Owners were told what had been decided rather than shown the deciding. Owners are signing this request to break that pattern.
To add your name, email ccowart@timesinks.net with your unit number before the October Board meeting, on Wednesday, October 7. Confidential signatures are counted; public ones are verifiable and carry more weight.
